Altered Books

The Art of Altered Books presents physical structures for viewing language through the creation of 3-D assemblages. Discarded books emerge as up-cycled mixed media pieces which stimulate curiosity, generate conversations and provide reimagined stories.

The altered books’ visual representations range from current societal situations to whimsical structures, expressed through images and words. Some can be wall mounted; others are intended for pedestal viewing.
